Patientenverband Familiäre Amyloid Polyneuropathie e.V., (hereinafter “FAP” or “we”) is entitled to take photos, to make film and video recordings and other documentation about the event (including attendees, participants, guests etc.) for public relation purposes. Such recordings can be presented on FAP’s website, social media channels and/or print publications for the aforementioned purpose.

The legal basis for the above mentioned processing is Art. 6 Para 1 lit. f of EU Regulation No. 2016/679 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Public relations work and the presentation of our events (including media coverage of the event) constitute a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para 1 lit. f GDPR.

If the legal requirements of Art. 21 GDPR are met, the data subject may object to processing of personal data concerning him or her on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, at any time.

If you wish make such an objection, we ask you to provide us with a reason why we should not process your personal data. We will weigh your reasons against our interest in continuing data processing and subsequently either stop, or adapt the data processing, or point out to you our compelling reasons worthy of protection on the basis of which we shall continue the processing. Please note that we also process your data if this is necessary for asserting, exercising or defending any legal claims. If you are of the opinion that the processing of the personal data relating to you is in breach of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority.
